Privacy Policy

Wildlife Collection · Last updated: 27 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Wildlife Collection ("the app", "we", "us"), published by Maraverse Games, handles your information. The app is a single-player wildlife card-collecting game for Android. Your game progress stays on your device; the only information that leaves it is the limited, pseudonymous data described below, used to keep the app running, improve it, and show rewarded ads.

For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, the data controller is Adrián Rodríguez Nieto, an individual developer trading as Maraverse Games, based in Spain and reachable at [email protected].

1. Data stored on your device

All of your game progress — your collection, coins, quests, achievements, streaks, and settings — is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself (see "Exporting your data" below). We do not run a game server, there are no accounts, and we cannot see, access, or recover your game progress.

2. What the app sends, and why

2.1 Analytics

To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we use Google Analytics for Firebase. It records usage events (for example, opening a pack, completing a collection, or changing a setting) together with a pseudonymous, app-generated instance identifier and general technical information such as your device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and approximate country or region. This data does not include your name, email, or the contents of your collection, and it is not used to personally identify you. You can see the pseudonymous identifier for your own installation in the app under Settings › Privacy, and use it to ask us to delete your records. Google processes this data as described in Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's privacy information.

2.2 Advertising

The app offers optional rewarded video ads (for example, to earn coins or an extra pack) served through Google AdMob. To show and measure these ads, Google may use your device's advertising identifier and related information. You are never required to watch an ad to play, and there are no other ad formats — no banners and no interstitials.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app shows a Google-provided consent form the first time it is needed, so you can choose between personalized and non-personalized ads. Your choice is stored on your device and respected on every later launch. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device's system settings. See how Google uses data for AdMob and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

If you are in a US state whose privacy law applies, the app shows a Google-provided form that lets you choose whether your data may be sold or shared to personalize the ads you see. You can decline and still play and still earn the same rewards.

2.3 Crash and error diagnostics

To find and fix bugs, the app uses Sentry (sentry.io/privacy), a third-party error-reporting service. When the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, a diagnostic report is sent to Sentry. These reports contain technical information such as the error message and stack trace, the app version and release channel, your device model, and operating-system version. They do not include your name or any data you would consider personally identifying, and they do not include the contents of your game collection.

2.4 Configuration and update checks

The app uses Firebase Remote Config to read a small configuration file we publish (for example, the minimum supported app version), and Google Play's own update service to tell you when a newer version is available. These requests send your app version and basic device and installation identifiers to Google so the right configuration can be returned. They do not send anything about how you play.

2.5 Card artwork downloads

Most of the card artwork is not bundled inside the app: it is downloaded on demand from our content-delivery network at wlc-assets.maraversegames.com, hosted by Cloudflare. As with any request over the internet, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request metadata to deliver the files and protect the service. We do not use these requests to build a profile of you, and downloaded artwork is cached on your device so it is only fetched once.

3. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

  • Consent — personalized advertising, collected through the Google consent form described above. You can change your choice at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect processing that already happened.
  • Legitimate interests — analytics, crash diagnostics, configuration and update checks, and delivering artwork, so that we can keep the app working, secure, and improving. We only use pseudonymous data for this, and never data that identifies you personally.
  • Performance of a contract — providing the game itself, including the on-device data that makes it work.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers named in this policy: Google (Firebase Analytics, Remote Config, AdMob, Google Play), Sentry, and Cloudflare. Those providers may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards each provider offers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long data is kept

Game progress stays on your device until you delete it. Analytics, ads, and diagnostic data are kept only for the retention periods configured in each service, after which they are deleted automatically. Because none of it is attached to an account, clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app resets the identifiers that link it to your installation.

6. Notifications

With your permission, the app schedules local notifications on your device (for example, to remind you when a free pack or your daily reward is ready). These are generated and stored entirely on your device and are not sent through any external server — we do not use push notifications. You can disable them at any time in the app's Settings or in your device's system settings.

7. Exporting your data

The app lets you export your game progress to a file so you can back it up or move it to another device, and lets you share a card image. When you do this, the file is handled by your device's own sharing tools and goes wherever you choose to send it. We never receive a copy.

8. Data we do not collect

  • We do not require an account or ask for your name, email, or phone number.
  • We do not collect your precise location.
  • We do not collect your contacts, photos, or files.
  • We do not use push notifications or send you marketing messages.
  • We do not sell your personal information. Ad personalization is handled by Google and is always yours to decline, as described above.

9. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time.

Because the app has no accounts, the data described here is pseudonymous and we cannot connect it to you by name. To let us find your records, include the data ID shown in the app under Settings › Privacy when you write to [email protected]. We will respond within one month. Practical steps you can take yourself are listed on our Data Deletion page.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos; in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission. Users in Australia may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

10. Children's privacy

The app is directed to a general audience and is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are below the age of digital consent where you live, please use the app together with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Deleting your data

Your game progress lives only on your device — uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes it entirely. To request deletion of the limited data collected by third-party services (analytics, ads, crash diagnostics), see our Data Deletion page.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the app starts using a new service. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
